Maybach 2006 Exelero

To the bat-cave, Robin: DaimlerChrysler's Maybach brand harks back to the 1930s - and Batman's wacky Batmobile - with its Exelero concept.

2 Jun 2005

MAYBACH has unveiled a high-performance Exelero custom coupe, built purely to show off the exclusive brand’s design capabilities and to help test new tyre technology.

A modern interpretation of Maybach’s legendary streamlined sports car from the 1930s, the Exelero was produced for Fulda Reifenwerke, which is using the Exelero as a reference vehicle for a newly developed generation of wide tyres.

The twin-turbocharged V12 two-seater develops 515kW of power and a massive 1020Nm of torque from 2500rpm.
