Peugeot's Prologue concept at Geneva is a prelude to the 407 Coupe18 Feb 2005 By TERRY MARTIN PEUGEOT might be calling this a concept, but the 407 Coupe Prologue is a strong indication of how the 407 Coupe will look when it arrives in Australia next year. To be displayed at the Geneva motor show starting March 3 and designed in-house, the sleek coupe looks a worthy successor to the svelte 406 Coupe. It has a thoroughly modern interior with neat touches including aluminium with red leather on the fascia panel and a five-dial instrument panel in a chronograph format. The coupe’s underpinnings mirror that of other 407 models, while the engine in the show car is a turbo-diesel V6 developing 150kW and 440Nm. The oil-burner pairs up with a six-speed automatic.
