Future models - Porsche - Cayenne - CoupePorsche Cayenne Coupé Electric revealedWith 911-inspired looks, the new Coupé variant lands with a $173,600 starting price24 Apr 2026 PORSCHE has revealed the Coupé variant of its Cayenne Electric SUV model, landing with three different power output options, and styling inspired by the 911 sportscar.
Like the SUV, the Cayenne Coupé Electric line-up comprises three variants – the standard Coupé Electric (from $173,600), the S model (from $194,600), and the range-topping Turbo (from $272,100).
The Coupé models attract a price premium compared to the trio of regular SUV variants.
The standard model is $5800 more expensive while the S and Turbo models wear price tags $1500 and $12,200 dearer respectively than their SUV equivalents.
However, the higher asking prices don’t just buy coupé styling, with a longer list of both standard and optional equipment available for the Coupé compared to the SUV, according to Porsche.
Measuring 4985mm long, 1980mm wide, and 1650mm tall, the Cayenne Coupé Electric is the same length and width as its SUV-body counterpart unveiled globally last year, but is some 24mm lower.
All three Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric variants on offer in Australia each feature all-wheel drive powertrains with identical output specifications to the existing SUV models.
Electricity is sourced from a 113kWh (gross) capacity battery, supporting 390kW DC fast charging, but Porsche says it can support up to 400kW charging under certain conditions.
The standard Cayenne Coupé Electric kicks off the range, producing 300kW (325kW with Overboost Power), good for a 0-100km/h time of 4.8 seconds.
Stepping up to the Cayenne S Coupé Electric and the regular power output and Overboost Power increase to 400kW and 490kW respectively. The S model completes the 0-100km/h dash in 3.8 seconds.
At the top of the range, the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric produces 630kW (850kW on Overboost) and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds.
Porsche is yet to quote range figures for the new Coupé models for Australia, but its driving distance reportedly increases by up to 18km on the WLTP cycle to 669km for European-spec models compared to its SUV counterpart.
Along with the 911-inspired sloping roofline (or ‘flyline’ in Porsche parlance), reducing the Coupé’s drag coefficient by 0.02 compared to the SUV model, the Cayenne Coupé’s exterior is equipped with active aerodynamic features including moving cooling flaps and an adaptive rear spoiler.
When optioned with the Lightweight Sport package (only available on the Coupé model) you’ll also find a carbon-fibre roof and inserts, and unique 22-inch wheels with high-performance tyres, resulting in a weight-saving of up to 17.6kg depending on the variant.
Adaptive air suspension is standard on the Cayenne Coupé Electric while active suspension – available on the S and Turbo variants – and rear-axle steering are available as optional extras.
A towbar is also available for the Cayenne Coupé Electric, allowing for a towing capacity of up to 3.500kg (braked).
Inside you’ll find either a two-seat or two 2+1 rear seating configuration, a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster, the central flow display that debuted on the SUV-body style, a panoramic glass sunroof with optional variable lighting control, while a 14.9-inch passenger display and a head-up display are available as optional extras.
Porsche quotes 534 litres of boot space with the rear seats up and 1347 litres with the rear seats down in the Coupé mode (compared to the maximum 781 and 1588 litres in the SUV model), as well as 90 litres of front storage.
