Holden wheels out special-edition Thunder versions of its Ute and Crewman models4 Apr 2006 FOLLOWING the Commodore SVZ sedan and wagon special-editions introduced late last month, Holden has turned its attention to its VZ COmmodore-based ute and Crewman dual-cab models in a bid to ramp up sales before production ends later this year. On sale from this month, the "Thunder" editions are claimed to have up to $3500 worth of extra value on the S and SS utes and SS Crewman models. New equipment includes a hard tonneau cover, 18-inch alloy wheels (17-inch on Crewman), colour-coded leather seats for the SS ute and, for S and SS Crewman, "anthracite leather" seat trim.Pricing starts from $33,990 for the "Thunder" S ute (auto adds $2000), while the manual and auto SS ute starts from $42,490.
