Another platinum-edition Pajero emerges from Mitsubishi, based on GLX28 Sep 2009 MITSUBISHI has released a limited-edition version of its Pajero, with just 550 examples available, based on the entry-level GLX five-door. The Pajero Platinum Edition – a limited-edition name used previously by Mitsubishi for its mid-sized SUV wagon – features a number of safety, comfort and styling upgrades. In addition to the GLX’s standard equipment list, the Platinum Edition offers a reversing camera, front foglights, body-coloured side mirrors, integrated side steps with front mudguards, a rear wind deflector and Platinum Edition signature carpet mats and badging. On the inside, the Platinum Pajero features Mitsubishi’s Multi Communication System (MMCS) incorporating satellite-navigation and Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity. The Pajero Platinum Edition five-door is available from October with both 3.8-litre petrol V6 and 3.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engines – priced from $52,290 and $54,290 respectively – mated to either manual or automatic transmissions. Like all Mitsubishis in Australia, it comes with a five-year/130,000km new-vehicle warranty and 10-year/160,000km non-transferrable drivetrain warranty. “With less than 550 units of this premium vehicle released, we are sure to see a rush of four-wheel drive enthusiasts trying to get their hands on this brilliant deal,” said Mitsubishi Motors Australia vice-president of brand and marketing, Paul Unerkov. “This vehicle is the perfect combination of solid off-road power, sleek on-road pleasure, safety, functionality and style,” he said. ![]() Read moreAll new models Alfa Romeo Abarth Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chrysler Chevrolet Dodge Citroen Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton Haval Great Wall Honda Holden Hyundai HSV Isuzu Infiniti Jaguar Iveco Kia Jeep Land Rover Lamborghini Maserati Lexus McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mitsubishi Mini Opel Nissan Porsche Peugeot Ram Proton Rolls-Royce Renault Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla VolvoPajero pricingMotor industry news |
