- James Goodwin has been appointed as CEO of crash safety watchdog ANCAP following the resignation of former CEO Nick Clarke.

- Mr Goodwin was about to become head of public affairs at the National Farmer's Federation before being offered the job, and has previously spent four years as director of government relations and communications for the Australian Automobile Association (AAA).
