Free supercar rides at Melbourne F1 GP

IF YOU’VE ever wanted the opportunity to take a ride in a supercar, now is your chance.

Ahead of the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix, McLaren and Jack Daniels have teamed up to offer free supercar rides to adrenalin-seeking fans, running across the race weekend from St Kilda’s Espy Hotel and Southbank’s Crown Casino.

The experience will be topped off by on-board headsets, a complimentary Jack Daniel’s cocktail, and entry to a dedicated race space for fans dubbed Jack’s Garage.

Based at The Espy in St Kilda, from Thursday 13 March to Sunday 16 March, Jack’s Garage will be “packed with authentic McLaren memorabilia” including driver suits and a replica F1 car, while The Espy’s Gershwin Room will host live music from Newcastle alt-rockers Rum Jungle, country sensation Brad Cox, US soul powerhouses Durand Jones & The Indications, and legendary local DJ Nina Las Vegas.
