By JUSTIN HILLIARD Style met substance when Land Rover launched its Range Rover Velar mid-size SUV in mid-2017, with no fewer than 48 different variants on offer.
A choice of two exterior looks, six engine and four trim levels meant Land Rover gave buyers unprecedented choice to select their perfect model.
Opening the range was the 132kW/430Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel D180, followed by the 177kW/500Nm twin-turbo 2.0-litre D240 and 221kW/700Nm twin-turbo 3.0-litre diesel V6 D300.
Petrol engines on offer included the base 184kW/365Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre P250, 221kW/400Nm P300 and flagship 280kW/450Nm supercharged 3.0-litre V6 P380.
Standard equipment included a power-operated and gesture-controlled tailgate, 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, eight-speaker sound system, flush door handles and keyless entry. Reviews
