AE102 Series II Corolla

A model reshuffle, minor trim changes and upgraded specification levels marked the ’96 Corolla range.

The 4A-FE 1.6 was now solely for CSi models, the Seca gained a Conquest 1.8 variant and the Ultima models disappeared (for now).

The AE102 continued for a year after the next generation, fully imported AE110 hatchback range appeared in October ’98, but only in CSi and Conquest guises – with air-conditioning as standard.
