WHILE all the attention and controversy surrounds the new Type R Integra, which offers a mere 147kW and smaller wheels and brakes than its 162kW namesake sold in Japan, the base model (which now doesn't even get the GSi appellation) has quietly gone about its business and is actually outselling its macho teammate. Bereft of that big rear wing, 30-odd kiloWatts from its 2.0-litre engine and a heap of attitude, the Integra is nevertheless an attractive and enjoyable coupe to look at and drive.
