OptionsCar reviews - MG - MGF - VVC convertibleMG models14 Feb 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON THE MGF is the first MG to offer power steering. It's a standard rack and pinion, speed-sensitive system but instead of using hydraulics, it employs electric assistance, the degree of which is determined by load sensors and speed. One of the advantages is the removal of the "hiss factor" found in conventional hydraulic power steering systems. The turning circle is 10.5m and turns lock to lock 3.1. Did you know?Fuel economy and emissions are reduced because the power steering system is only powered when assistance is requiredAll car reviews![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
