Built at Subaru’s US plant, it was the Japanese company’s first attempt at a large, seven-seater SUV. The engine, a close cousin of the 3.0-litre H6 horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine used in the Outback, developed 180kW of power at 6600rpm 297Nm of torque at 4200rpm. Prices started at $53,990 for the 3.0R and 58,990 for the 3.0R Premium. |
