Revised XUV700 mid-size seven-seat SUV offers improved technology including ADAS safety and refreshed styling accompanying drive-away price rise. Two grades are available, both with carried over 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mStallion engine with 149W/380Nm and six-speed automatic.

Medium-size 4x4 SUV from India has been upgraded for a better ANCAP rating, with more primary and secondary safety equipment and ADAS tech. The previous model scored zero safety stars. It is powered by a 129kW/400Nm 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine with a six-speed auto.

Mahindra’s new-from-the-ground-up medium SUV will arrive with two front-wheel drive seven-seat variants, both using a 149kW/380Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and six-speed automatic.

The large seven-seat Scorpio-N might make it this month in possibly mid and high spec’ and will most likely be diesel only at a price TBA. 4x2 and 4x4 will be available, likely paired to a turbo-diesel 2.2-litre engine which delivers 128kW/400Nm through a six-speed automatic transmission.

Mahindra will replace its diesel-powered XUV500 with a petrol version as the entry-level model in the range. Pricing will start at $25,990 driveaway, making it the cheapest seven-seat mid-size SUV on the Australian market.
